Join Ma'wa Collective on this 9 day/8 night trip as we hike through Peru, visit Inca ruins, and experience the incredible Andean mountain passes. We will spend 4 incredible days trekking along the famous Inca Trail and pass through the Sun Gate for that first magical sighting of Machu Picchu! On our final day, we will be completing a hike up to the beautiful Rainbow Mountain and exploring other areas of Peru such as the Sacred Valley.

This iconic trek will cover approximately 26 miles (42 km) over 4 days. When you click RSVP above, you'll see our day-by-day itinerary. You do not need to have a multi-day hiking experience in the past, but we recommend all participants are active in walking, running, or hiking to prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime experience and are mentally prepared for a challenging experience!

What is not included in the above cost for this trip: flights (please fly into Cusco airport), gratuities, travel insurance, extra hike up Huayna Picchu Mountain ($75), and equipment rentals. The rental costs are listed here: Sleeping Bag is $25, Inflatable Air Mattress/Sleeping Pad: $20, and Hiking Poles (Pair): $20.

Born and raised in Egypt, Farida first fell in love with the mountains watching the sunrise on top of Mount Sinai. That awe-inspiring magic of witnessing such vast beauty has since become the lens through which she sees the world, and is what fuels her adventures. She lives in New York City and is an avid runner, vinyl record enthusiast, and creative soul. You’ll often find her training for her next marathon, curled up with a good book, or making art. Farida is happiest on the trail though, especially with a freshly brewed cup of Turkish coffee shared with friends!
