Get ready for our second group girls trip, this time in Northern California! We have a set of cabins reserved near Lake Almanor and we will be spending our long weekend lakeside, driving up to Lassen National Park, exploring caves and lava tubes, hiking to waterfalls, and more!! Nadah is an Egyptian Muslim-American woman who grew up with a love for the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, and most recently mountaineering. She’s visited 27 national parks across the US and completed treks to Everest Base Camp, summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Mt. Kosciuszko in Australia, and received a scholarship to summit Glacier Peak in Washington state this past summer with Climbers of Color. She is passionate about making the outdoors more accessible to others in her community which is how the idea for Ma’wa was born.
