Join us from July 19th-22nd and take in the beauty of the Upper Peninsula. This long weekend's itinerary includes a weekend exploring the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, hiking to several waterfalls, enjoying sunsets over Lake Superior, and evening campfires. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore offers 40 miles of lakeshore and 100 miles of trails winding through forest. The region includes towering multicolored sandstone cliffs, miles of sparkling beaches, dashing waterfalls, deep green forests, and inland lakes and streams, all ready to be explored!

We have a spacious lodge reserved that fits 15 people for this 4 day/3 night trip. It is about a 6 hour drive from Chicago & Detroit and 7 hours from Minneapolis. We will potentially have girls carpooling and driving from both Chicago and Detroit. We will be departing from Munising around Monday at noon. When you click RSVP above, you will be taken to our booking platform to fill out the registration form. You will also be asked to submit the initial $100 non-refundable deposit (which covers part of the total trip cost) to confirm your spot. Please note: this trip will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and most of our trips fill up within a few days.

Iman is a Palestinian Muslim-American woman who loves nature and the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, spending time at the lake, and just having moments of stillness in nature. She has an extensive history in direct service with a range of nonprofit organizations and recently shifted to operational support for nonprofit organizations. Iman also loves crafting and being in community. She is excited to bring her passion for nature and community together as a trip lead with Ma'wa. In addition to being outdoors, you can expect moments of reflection and creativity with Iman.
